SUBMISSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED

We are looking for creature feature works of prose or visual art in the horror genre. Prose must be written in the English language.
Paw&Claw Ink takes submissions through Google Forms, submissions sent via any other method will not be accepted.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, we simply ask that you tell us if your piece has been accepted elsewhere. We are unable to accept previously published pieces or art. We cannot accept previously commissioned art.
Writers retain all rights to their work after publication. Paw&Claw Ink acquires first serial rights (incl. print and electronic), after that, rights belong to the author. We ask that you credit us as first publication if you decide to publish your work in a larger collection.
Artists retain all rights to their work.
- Photographs will need to include written or digital permission from any models.
- Photographed objects must be in the public domain, photographed in public areas, or free to use.
You can submit once to each submission category per submission window.
Please include any content warnings in the Google Form.
If you wish to be published anonymously or use a pseudonym, please state so in the Google Form.
Do not have any identifying information in the document submitted.
A.I.-generated writing or art will NOT be accepted. Those found submitting A.I. work will not be able to submit to future issues.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to pay contributors for their work, though we are working on acquiring complimentary copies of the anthology.
Paw&Claw Ink is a new publication with a very small, very busy team. Because of this, the pool of works accepted for publication is small. Currently, we aim to select around six pieces of prose per submission window.
Apologies to poets as we are unable to accept poetry submissions at this time. Our team is inexperienced in the form and not confident in our ability to give it the care it deserves.
